Series
◎Installation
1. The timer must be a fixed installation.
2. The faucet connection should be towards the top. Screw connection
up by hand. Do not over tighten or use a wrench to avoid nut breaking.
3.
Please cover and fasten
the transparent cover. Otherwise can not waterproof and cause failure.
◎Battery
installation
1.
Open the transparent cover.
2.
Pull the battery compartment out of the timer.
3.
For VS01 , please install two full 1.2V~1.5V Ni-MH
rechargeable batteries. (The batteries must be fully 2.4V at least for
the first time use; otherwise, timer will not work.); For VS03,
please use two alkaline batteries which voltage is higher than 2.4V.
4.
Place the battery compartment back in the timer, after you insert the
batteries. Then close the cover fully.
•When
the battery voltage is below a safe operating voltage, the indicator
will appear red light and the valve will be closed.
◎Set
the watering interval
Turn the frequency dial to the desired watering frequency. The
frequency dial has 12 settings:
• Minute - 5，10，15，30 mins
•
Hour - 1，2，4，8，12 hr
•
Day - 1，2，3 day.
◎Set
the watering duration
•
Program your timer before
connecting to the tap. Rotate the Duration Dial to the desired watering
duration. The Duration dial has 12 settings:
•
OFF
– the valve will
close. • ON
– the valve will
open.
•
15, 30 sec 1, 3, 5, 10,
15, 20, 30, 60 min - the water will come on automatically at the
intervals shown by the frequency dial and remain on for the chosen
duration .
•
To change the watering
duration while the valve is open simply rotates the dial to the new
duration. The valve will close first and open again for the duration
shown on the duration dial regardless of how long the valve had been
open prior to the change.
Note:
* When the batteries installation is done, the valve will be turned off
automatically right away.
**The water will not come on until after the first complete interval.
For example, if the timer is programmed at 1 pm, and the interval dial
is set to come on every four hours. At 5 pm, the valve will open.
If immediate watering is needed, then a manual watering interval may be
started.
*** Timer will not work when the duration is the same or longer than the
frequency. For example, the timer will think this is meaningless setting
if you set up timer to work 30 mins every 10 mins.
◎Rain
stop function (For VS01)
The rain sensor is the 2 contacts on top, next to the solar panel. Timer
will stop immediately when raining, and it will not work until next
running time after sensor is dry.
